1) No Sale or Sharing of Personal Data
We do not sell your personal information or your content—of any kind, for any reason.
We also do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (sometimes called “targeted advertising”).
2) What We Collect
We collect only what’s needed to operate and improve the app:
Account & Authentication Information
Examples: name, email address, password or OAuth tokens.
Purpose: authentication and account security (sign-in, session management, fraud prevention).
Swing Videos & Related Content
Examples: videos you record/upload in the app, associated thumbnails/metadata.
Purpose: to improve your user experience, including video playback, rewatching, and app features you choose to use (e.g., analysis tools, history).
App Diagnostics (limited, if enabled by your device/app settings)
Examples: crash logs, performance data.
Purpose: maintain and improve reliability.
We do not collect or store more than is necessary for app functionality.
We do not collect sensitive personal information unless you explicitly provide it and it’s strictly necessary for a specific feature (which we will explain at that time).
3) How We Use Your Information
Authenticate your account and keep it secure.
Provide core features, including capturing, saving, and replaying swing videos.
Maintain and improve the app’s performance, reliability, and user experience.
Communicate with you about updates, security alerts, and service messages.
We do not use your personal information to build marketing profiles or for targeted ads.
4) How We Disclose Information
We only disclose information in these limited situations:
Service Providers (Processors): Companies that host data, provide storage, authentication, customer support, or similar services. They may only use your data to perform services for us and must protect it.
Legal/Compliance: If required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Business Transfers: If we undergo a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may transfer under the same privacy commitments.
We do not allow service providers to sell your data or use it for their own advertising.
5) Data Retention
Account data: kept while your account is active.
Swing videos: kept so you can rewatch and use app features; you can delete videos at any time from within the app (or by contacting us).
When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify associated personal information and videos within a reasonable period, unless we must retain certain records to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
6) Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7) International Users
If you access our services from outside your country, your information may be processed in locations where we or our service providers operate. We take steps to ensure appropriate protections consistent with this Policy and applicable law.
8) Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes to our practices or legal requirements. If we make material changes, we’ll notify you by posting the updated Policy and updating the “Effective Date” above. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated Policy.
